Thank you for the comments about my family's situation!!
As my title of this post states...my family's luck might have taken a turn for the better. I don't want to get too ahead of myself but there are 3 job possibilities for my dad. One is here in Arkansas but it is a huge pay decrease. The other 2 are basically the same job that he used to have (different companies though) but they are in South Carolina and Georgia.
I want my parents to be happy and I know they are happy here in Arkansas...at least my dad really enjoys it. But I think my mom would love to move back to SC. Her entire family lives there and that is where she grew up. Not to mention that the move (if he got the job) would put them 2 hours from the beach...my real life friends who are reading this are probably thinking it my dream come true! haha you see, I grew up in Georgia and pretty much miss it every day.

Anyways, enough about that. The Grey's Anatomy finale was tonight and it was amazing!! Grey's has been dragging and not as great the past few seasons but this episode was one of the best!!!

I just finished watching The Time Traveler's Wife and I loved it. I bawled through the ending. I've heard that the book is so much better so I really want to start reading that!!

Well the crazyness of finals and moving out has past...I am done with a small internship and this is the first day of summer where I can relax and do nothing until...........
I woke up to find my dad home. He was fired this morning along with practically every employee that makes more than $60,000 in the Northwest Arkansas Tyson division. Tyson's reasoning? Well, most divisions have been down lately (hmm enconomy) this one was by far not the worst. My dad said they are turning around the numbers already say that much, but corporate feels like its not fast enough so they fired any person in a manager position or higher.
He has 30 days before he is officially fired so he's going to start looking for other jobs.
He said that we have enough for me to stay in school but it will be hard because my sister is graduating high school next year. I know I need to get a job when I go back to school to help out...there's just not many jobs available in Fayetteville.

Please pray for my family as we go through this struggle.

Last Sunday, me and 4 other girls traveled down to the University of Arkansas of Little Rock for the installation of the new Kappa Delta chapter--Eta Sigma. I was very happy to go and it was so nice to see Kappa Delta grow.

Spring Break 2010 was a blast!!!
My friends and I went to Dallas and stayed at one of the girls houses. The weather was CRAZY. The first Saturday we were there it snowed.

2 days later it hit 80 degrees.

2 days after that it sleeted. And I though Arkansas weather was crazy!! We did alot of relaxing by the pool and watching movies. I finally saw The Blind Side and of course I loved it!!! So proud of my Kappa Delta sisters :) I also saw Law Abiding Citizen and Couples Retreat both were good.

One night we went to my little's grandmother's house for dinner. Her grandma was soo cute! We also did alot of shopping. I got some AMAZING shoes...seriously I am in love with them buuttt I don't have a picture yet. I am wearing one of my new dresses in this picture. It is the group that stayed at M's house (there were 2 other girls and 4 boys but they all stayed at their own houses) plus her parents.

Anyways, I am officially on my fun spring break. I am in Dallas with some of my sisters and I am soooo excited. We are relaxing and just hanging out with each other.

My mom called me this morning to tell me that she took my dog, Mopsy, to the vet. He is in Kidney failure so that means we have to put him down Friday morning. So I'm going home tomorrow night to say good-bye. What a way to start spring break...

I had full intentions on updating yesterday because the past few weeks have been absolutely crazy!!
Between school, Kappa Delta stuff and Associated Student Government stuff there has been so much drama. I will do a post on that later butttt
On Saturday 3 University of Arkansas students were in an accident (2 guys and 1 girl). The girl and 1 of the guys fell off a cliff and died. The other guy was seriously injured but he is still alive. Both guys were Sigma Nus and the 2 deaths have effected so many people on campus. One of my sisters was best friends with the girl who passed away, so it has hit our house hard. So please keep UofA in your prayers.

So it snowed here AGAIN!!! and we got a snow day on Tuesday. Since this is test week, I ended up having 4 tests today. So I am very happy this week is almost over!

But I am very excited for Valentine's Day. Since B and I are broke college students, we decided to just cook dinner for each other Sunday evening and also going to see Valentine's Day (which I am PUMPED for!!!)

And in Kappa Delta news, I organized my first event last week! We invited the boys of BYX (Beta Upsilon Chi...aka Brothers Under Christ) over to the KD house to eat dinner and decorate Valentine's Day cards for a nursing home. It was so much fun. The BYX guys are soo sweet. They brought me roses for organizing everything.

So we've been hit with the biggest snow storm I've ever seen!!
Yesterday the university closed at 5 and today they closed the school. The University of Arkansas has only closed like 25 days out of the last 100 years...1 this year and 4 last year!!!! This is also the anniversary of the Ice Storm '09.
Right now, there is soo much snow...it's crazy!! The good thing is that I am snowed into a house with 70 girls!! The bad thing is our house staff left yesterday afternoon and we have no substantial food left. haha Now all we have is bagels, cereal and chips. Hopefully, we will be able to get out tomorrow.
We are able to walk outside though. Earlier tonight we ventured to Dickson Street. Only 1 restaurant was open but hey at least it was food.

I've checked Weather.com and it seems like we only have a few more hours of snow but it has stretched across Tennessee and into North Carolina. I know alot of the blogs I follow are girls who live in those states so hopefully it doesn't get too bad.

In other news, we are have a Sisterhood event tomorrow night. We are going to watch the miss America pageant!! Yay!! I've decided to make score cards and girls will choose their top 5. The girl who gets it right will win a prize!

Does life ever slow down?

Well things have been pretty hectic lately with school kicking into full gear and soo much KD stuff!!
I feel somewhat overwhelmed but at least I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays!!

I am planning an event for next week and I kinda nervous about how it will go. I invited a frat over (BYX to be exact--Brothers Under Christ its the christian frat on campus but they might as well be considered "regular" greek life because they do everything everyone else does) Anyways, we will be making Valentine's Day cards for a local nursing home and I'm excited to see how it goes!!

KD just opened a new chapter at University of Arkansas-Little Rock and they just initiated 30 girls on Saturday so thats always exciting to have another KD!!!

My first report is due to nationals on Monday and I am sooooooooooo nervous that it won't be what they want!! Crossing my fingers!!

Our first function was last Thursday. The theme was Dynamic Duos. B and I went as David and Victoria Beckham...I know not the most original but I've never been the most creative with costumes.

The Bachelor and Vacation

Well I am currently watching last night's episode, I'm a little over half way so I haven't gotten to the BIG drama. BUT oh my Michelle drives me crazy haha it's like a train wreck. I liked Elizabeth until she made the comment "make out with my forehead all day" she's pushing the not kissing to the limit.
By far my favorite is Ali. I think she is so cute and it seems like her and Jake have a connection.

On other news, I started classes today. I am in class from 8am-3:20om. It's a LONNNG day but at least I don't have classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday!!

As mentioned, my vacation:
My family and I drove to South Carolina to visit my mom's side of the family. While there, we drove up to Boone, NC to go snow tubing and skiing.
I've been skiing in Boone before but this was the first time my parents and my sister had ever skied...believe me it was hilarious...haha
We went snow tubing at Hawksnest, which was so much fun. It was really cold and the wind was awful so cool. Basically, it used to be a ski mountain but the slopes were converted into tubing lanes.
The next day we skied at Appalachian mountain, where I've been.

Finals are over and I am HOME!!!! I am so happy to be home...sleeping in, seeing B every day and good food :)

I am very happy to be home and for Christmas to be so close...

ok so this isn't my house because lets face it it only snows here like 4 days a year (with the exception of last year's ice storm)

I am not excited to get my grades back because this is my worst semester yet...i was not interested in any of my classes and they were just hard...Last semester(Spring 09) I got a 3.8 (4 A's and 1 B and that B was an 89...ughh so frustrating not to get a 4.0) I had 3 classes that are very low B's (I'm talking 80.38, 81.4 and 80.9) and 1 class that was a high C (79.34) I just hope that I was able to keep the B and pull up my C to a B....Fingers crossed

Last week on Dead Day, Monster donated drinks to the KD house...lets just say there wasn't alot of sleep that night.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was very relaxing, I spent it at my grandmothers house. Today was Black Friday and A and I ventured out. I walked out of Target with quite a load of movies...probably got a little carried away haha
I also got a Dillard's White and Green dress for Semi-Formal and a black one from White House/Black Market. I couldn't find a picture of either so you'll just have to wait until then...

In other news, I was elected Vice-President of Public Relations for KayDee!!!! I'm really excited because I am a PR major so this will be good experience.

Not much has happened lately, just waiting for classes to end. Only 7 more (class) days left!!

Well homecoming was 2 weeks ago and i am still recovering..haha it was crazy...but we got 3rd place!
We've gotten 2nd the last 2 years so we really wanted 1st but at least we placed.

Yep thats right I made the news last night. It was a weird/awkward moment for me.

Story: I was on my way back from class and I have to cross a bridge, well there was a tv camera set up and the interviewer asked if he could interview me for a story about the bridge. So I answered his questions and they shot me walking back over the bridge, then told me to watch the news that night for the story.

Busy Busy Busy

I have been so incredibly busy!!! Tonight, I had ASG (Associated Student Government) election announcements. I am now an ASG Senator!!! Yay!! But I also had a teacher appreciation banquet, as well as chapter.

Tuesday: ASG induction ceremony and BIG/LIL Reveal!!! I am so excited!! I love my little so much!!! and I have to proctor the new pledge class's study time.

Wednesday: I have an advertising club meeting then we have our SET meeting with the new girls and then we have a Game Night Sisterhood.

Thursday: Watermelon Bust (Lambda Chi's philanthropy event) that is pretty much all day.

Friday: Pep Rally with Kappa Sig!!

Saturday: 1st Home football game vs. Georgia!!!! I'm so excited

Sunday: National Women's Friendship Month Celebration (our own National Holiday)

SOO busy!! and none of that is including school work...ughhh I have a test tomorrow and a test Friday...guess I better study :)

Yep, that was the title for our Date Dash last week. For those that don't know what Date Dash is, everyone in the sorority finds out about the function the morning of the event. You have to find a date and outfits for the function by that night..luckily I have the date part covered (too bad he has to drive 45 minutes there and back) the outfit was a little tricky. i have plenty of preppy dresses but I would never wear one to a function for fear that it was get ruined by drinks.

I am taking a short break from homework and online quizzes to update. I am so tired of school!! I don't know how I will make it through these next 14 week...ughh
My classes make me feel like I am in high school...all gen ed. Stuff I'm not interested but to make things EVEN better (note the sarcasm) these classes are HARD!!

Anyways, I am so excited for fall tv to come back!!! I can't wait for Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and Grey's!!
The first football game is Saturday...although it's in Little Rock...I won't be there since its 4 hours away but I am excited for the First Fayetteville...it's against the school I wanted to go to (shhhh) duh duh dun

We just had our New Member Retreat 100 girls all in 1 house equals no sleep...but I'm waiting on my laundry to finish before I nap.

Recruitment is over as of last Sunday. I am so thankful!! It was fun but I'm pretty sure I don't want to go through it again. I believe I will apply for Gamma Chi (a recruitment counselor) next year.

I have completed my first week as a Sophomore! It will be a VERY hard semester. I walked into my French class and my teacher did not speak a word of English! I have not taken French since my Junior year of High School, so I will definitely be struggling!

A long time coming

I have been so busy with RUSH that I have literally no time to post...I just caught up on reading blogs.
I have now moved into the Kaydee house. I live on the top floor, the Penthouse, with 4 other girls. Our room is the biggest in the house but it is still relatively small, but I LOVE it!!

I am having so much fun!! I can't wait for RUSH next week. I promise I will update more.

I found out yesterday that my grandma has a tumor on her neck. She is having surgery on Tuesday to find out if it is cancerous...prayers are needed!!

2 years ago, she had a her 2nd battle with cancer and she was cleared November of 2007 after all the chemo and radiation...she does not need another battle

So tomorrow is another day of work....you may be thinking today was Monday, didn't you work? Well, yes and no. My group had the day off, which means I worked from 8am to 2pm. I don't have to go to work until 9am tomorrow!!! Yay!!!!

In other news...B e-mailed me Saturday. He was in Prague for his free weekend. I miss him so much...I didn't realize it would be this hard without him!

I went home this past weekend to dogsit for my parents. I put on PJs Friday afternoon and took them off Sunday afternoon...LOVE IT! :)

As I said in the a previous post I moved back to Fayetteville to work. It has been very long but I am excited because training is over and Orientation starts Monday!!! I am very excited!!! Last Saturday, all the leaders went on a float trip to Tahlequah, Oklahoma. It was sooo hot. I did get a little sunburned but not as bad as everyone else.

This past week Wal-Mart has hosted its annual Shareholders event. They ususally have many celebrities and performers come. Tuesday was Brad Paisley and Sugarland concerts. I'm not a big fan of them so I didn't care to go. Wednesday was the Foreigner and Daughtry concerts. I did go to these. Foreigner was awesome!!! Daughtry was disappointing.

Ok so I know it has been a month since I last posted...BUT I was crazy stressed with finals and then I moved back to my parents house which does not have wifi so I literally spent 15 minutes a day online.

So in the last month, not much has happened.

I finished my freshman year!!!! (and with 4 A's and 1 B!!!! 3.8!!!)

I moved back home which was amazing! I was very ready to be home...and do nothing!

Then for 2 1/2 weeks I did NOTHING. It was fabulous! I woke up at noon, tan, then hang out with either my friends or B. It was definitely relaxing.

But now I have moved back to Fayetteville (wifi so there will be more posts)

I am working as an orientation leader and it will be crazy for the next 5 weeks. Tomorrows schedule I will be working from 9am-midnight. Kill me now. The last 7 hours of work will be spent stuffing information packets for incoming freshman and their parents.

On another note, I have been reading Mrs. Mojito's story, "somewhere in between us" I can't wait for the next chapter!!!

Only 10 days left of school, including finals!! I cannot believe it! My freshman year is coming to an end!

A while back my sister had her first prom! So I drove home to see her...

The greekman pageant was so funny. One guy was beyond drunk, but it was hilarious!

The Guster concert was awesome!!! I'm definitely going to get some of their music on my iPod! Sorry this picture is a little blurry, blame my camera.

Saturday was the 20th anniversary of the founding of KD at the University of Arkansas! So we had out founder's day celebration. This is the cute banner outside our house.

That night B and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. We exchanged gifts before we went out to dinner at Ruth's Chris. This was our 2nd time eating there and it was amazing! Our waiter was beyond weird!!

I bought him this cake. It was delicious! We were so stuffed after dinner that he wasn't going to eat any that night. Well I knew how good Rick's cakes are so I got myself a piece. He said he would try a very small bite. So I gave him the first bite, after that he took my piece away from me and said I could get myself another piece, this one was too good to pass up.
After dinner we went to the mall and walked around, it was very windy.

I have a final tomorrow so I'm off to study!! Tonight is also the last chapter of the year..so sad. I'm gonna miss the seniors!!

My Easter break started last Thursday. I don't have class on Fridays (I know I am very lucky). I had bought an Easter dress the day before and I loved the top half but I just wasn't crazy about the bottom half, it was just a little too tight. So I took that dress back and found another one at a different boutique, that I LOVED!!! So I got back to Siloam Springs and ended up driving to Tulsa to pick up his brother, because of all the awful rain/weather, his flight was diverted.

Friday, we decorated Easter Eggs!! I haven't done this since I was like 10. It was so much fun!! I don't have any pictures though :( I finally saw Slumdog Millionaire too! It was so good. Maybe not good enough for every single Oscar but still amazing!!

Saturday, I went with B's family to Marketplace and Gator Golf (as you can tell from the MANY times we go mini golfing, it is very exciting to live in Northwest Arkansas haha)

Sunday was Easter. I went to Sunrise service and the 9:00 am service at my church then the 10:50 service at B's church. After that I went to lunch at B's house. There was a big lunch, it was really good! After that we had an Easter Egg hunt (again I haven't done this since I was 10) B's younger brother and sister are 12 and 16. The rest of us are in college, so most of the eggs were filled with money :)

After that I went to my grandma's house to visit her and my aunt and uncle. It was rainy all day which was a little miserable.

So I've been back at school which I am so ready for it to be over!! I have so much to do over the next 2 1/2 weeks. I am not very excited. This week is my sister's prom so I'm going home for the afternoon.

I don't have many pictures for this post, but I promise I will for the next one. I hope everyone had a great easter!! I did! It was nice to be home and do absolutely nothing!! These next few weeks are going to be horrible!! I have so much to do and not enough time to do it.

This week will be better than the next 3 :( but thats life for a college student.

Next Tuesday is B and I's 2 year anniversary and I have no idea what to get him any ideas?

He is the hardest person to shop for!!!

Also next Tuesday is the KD Greekman Pageant. I am really excited about this because it is supposed to be one of the funniest things of the year (I just wish it wasn't on Tuesday)

After the pageant there is a Guster concert. I've only listened to their music once but B LOVES them. It should be fun.

On top of all that I have a test that day...joy!

I'll probably post again today or tomorrow with pictures from my easter.

Sorry about being MIA lately...school is crazy! at least it is coming to an end...boy am I ready.

I am finally done with my Media and Society assignment so this blog is for real posts now :)

Spring break was a little over a month ago (and the weather was much nicer then). Due to the lack of money in my bank account I decided to go home for the break.

Last summer I went on a hiking trip with some of the juniors and seniors of my youth group and over spring break we had a little reunion...it was great to see all of them (well almost all)..we went to eat a some BBQ place (can't remember the name), Cold Stone for ice cream (yum!) and then back to one of the house's for a bonfire. H

Also, during spring break B and I went Gator Golf. Let's just say I am amazing at this course...ok not so much this course but just the last hole (but thats the one that counts right?) I got a hole in one!! :) so I won a free game...B actually won though

Later that week we decided to cook dinner together. We made Lemon and Rosemary Golden Chicken (I found the recipe from the April issue of Glamour) It was actually REALLY good! We also had Rice-a-Roni, bread and he had a salad (since I'm not too fond of veggies) and then we made a funfetti cake for dessert (we each got a piece then his dog decided she wanted some and devoured the rest)

Sadly after that I had to go back to school and B went on his spring break to California (I was so jealous) :( The week he got back was ROW week. Row week is 4 days when all the Frats get performers to come and play concerts...this year there were artists such as Ying Yang Twins, Twista, Boombox, Shwayze and Bun B.

Lil' Wayne was supposed to come but he canceled at the last minute (surprise surprise)

B and I went to PIKE to see the Country Boyz and Ying Yang Twins. It was awesome!!! We started out in the middle but ended up pretty much in the front.

Before we went out on Friday

, B and I decided to go use my free game of Gator Golf...we both ended up getting a hole in one on the last hole....ANOTHER FREE GAME!!! haha i guess we will have to go again soon :)

This has been crazy long...so that's it for now. Off to the Kappa Delta Spaghetti Dinner!! Yay!!

Tonight was the season three premiere of Greek. I am a little behind in Season 2, so I watched the episode, "The Popular Vote." I watched it on ABCFamily.com, every 10 minutes, the show pauses and shows a commercial. Every commercial was for the upcoming movie 17 Again. This placement of advertising is a smart move for the movie, because the target demographic of Greek is the same as the movie.

I listened to more U2 while I drove to the post office and bank.

Again I listened to U2 as I drove to Barnes and Noble.

I sat in Barnes and Noble for almost two hours reading magazines. I read this month's Cosmopolitan. Ashley Tisdale (from High School Musical) was on the cover and I read the interview/article about her. I also flipped through this months Brides magazine. I love weddings and looking at pictures and tips, even though I am not engaged.

7:45am- Newspaper

I read the Parade, which the cover story was about why we should fix our jails. I found this article a bit boring for a major story. I also read USA Weekend, its lead story was Secrets to a Healthy Family. I found this story very interesting and I even learned a few things, such as pasta noodles should be kept in its original box not a plastic bag. I also read the Sunday comics and the Siloam Springs Hearld Leader. The most interesting thing in the Hearld Leader was the arrest reports. I always find it interesting to see my former classmates listed in this section.

7:45am- TV

My sister had the tv on this morning (I was at home over the weekend). She had the channel on ABC Family which was airing the movie Au Pair.

8:45am- Music

On my way to church, I listened to the radio. The entire drive was commercials. I was l istening to 105.7. The advertising aired during this was geared to teens and 20 somethings, which makes sense because that the the demographic for that genre of music.

9:00-10:00am- Music

The music I heard during this time was worship music during church.

11:30am- Music

I listened to my iPod while I drove to lunch...the musical selection of the day was Moulin Rouge.

11:30am-12:30pm- Music

While I ate lunch at La Huerta, the restaurant played Spanish music.

Again, while driving I listened to the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.

I went to my boyfriend's house and hung out with his family. While there we played their Wii. We played tennis, bowled, and played a bit of baseball. After this, my boyfriend, his cousin, brother and I played Rock Band. This was my first time playing and I am horrible! I enjoyed it but doubt I will play many more times.

9:05pm- Music

At this time, I headed back to my dorm. On the way back I listened to my iPod on shuffle. Many different songs came on. The few that I can remember include an 'N SYNC song, a T.I. song, 2 songs from the Hairspray soundtrack, a Jack Johnson song and a Dave Matthews Band song. All very different from each other but I love each one.

Formal was March 7 and I had an amazing time!!!

A did my hair and as always she did great!! I got ready at B's, where we took a few pics, then we went to have dinner with 2 other couples. We got to P.F. Chang's at 7:30 thinking "oh it might be around a 45 minute wait" oh no we were seated at 9!!!! Dancing was so much fun...can't wait until the next function!!

I watched the last of episode 7, "The Breaking Point." This takes place in Belgium and is nearing the end of the war.

Episode 8, "The Last Patrol" is what it is, the last patrol. Death, destruction, promotion within the ranks.

Episode 9 is my favorite. "Why We Fight" is an amazing portrayal of the soldiers finding one of the concentration camps. It is heart breaking to see what these people had to go through.

I love redecorating shows. The episode was about Christopher Peak and Michele Merkel wanting to improve their home and GO GREEN. In the end, the couple was happy with the result, although I did not like the house.

In this episode, Stacy and Clinton help out executive assistant, Jessica. She had a terrible fashion sense and her hair was always in a ponytail. In the end, I didn't think it was a big transformation. Nick, the hairstylist, really likes short hair. He ALWAYS cuts women's hair so short. He was no different in this episode. He kept Jessica's hair short and the dreadful red color.

In this episode, Stacy and Clinton help out olympic hopeful Tara. She is a swimmer, so she has very broad shoulders and a toned body. Because of this she has a hard time finding girly clothes that fit. Once again Nick cut her hair but this time it looked good and Carmindy did a great job on her make-up. Tara ended up looking very beautiful and girly.

Band of Brothers-

The first episode I watched was episode 2 "Day of Days." The story follows Easy Company's drop into Normandy and their attempt for survival. I love this episode, it is my 2nd favorite.

The next episode was "Carentan." This follows Albert Blithe as he struggles with his anxiety of being in war. He eventually gets shot in the neck at the end of the episode.

The final episode I watched was "Replacements." I like this episode because it takes a spin on the war. Instead of focusing on a battle, it focuses on one man's attempt to survive in a barn overnight. The character is Bull Randleman, who is from Arkansas. He eventually has to kill in hand to hand, in order to stay alive.

Section A-Family Escapes Fire. A 4-year-old alerted her family that there was a fire in a front bedroom of the house. Everyone escaped and firefighters were able to control the fire.

Section B-Sam's Club Courts College Students. Sam's Club is offering college students a 1 year $40 membership, as well as a $15 gift card. This is very helpful to me, because I am a college student.

Section C-Class 5A State Tournament. I graduated from Siloam Springs High School, the basketball ball team won the 2008 State Tournament. I am very interested to see how well the team does this year. I also have personal ties with the team. I have a couple of friends who play on the team. I am very good friends with the head coach's wife and the assistant coach is my former tennis coach.

Section D-Comics. I love reading the comics. My favorite of the day is Close To Home.

The Bachelor: After the Final Rose 2--Jason states that what he did is not the classiest...pshh that is correct. How can someone break up with someone else on national television? Yes, he seemed heartbroken when he dumped Molly on the finale but if he was unsure in any way, he should not have proposed to Melissa. And another thing, he cries way too much. Guys who cry or show a little bit of emotion are cute, but Jason cries WAY too much! He uses crying as a defense mechanism. He does not want people (a.k.a. America) to hate him, so he cries and the public feels sorry for him. Melissa declined to appear on tonight's episode, good for her.

Not Me Monday

For sorority news, we had chapter tonight and it was relatively quick for formal chapter. Then we watched the pledge queen tryouts and then I had a meeting for PR.

Tomorrow is Sorority Noodles night and B is coming over!!!!! I'm so excited to see him. It will definitely brighten my already crappy week!!!

This past Saturday was Mom's Day. We woke up to snow...I am so ready for warm weather!!! So my mom got over here and we headed to the KD house. Wehad brunch, gave my mom a tour of the house. Then we went to shop around town, then we headed back to the house to paint pottery. We painted a plate, it wasn't perfect but I had fun. I'll post some pics at the end of this post.

Tomorrow is The Bachelor finale!!!! I don't know what I will do when it's over. Luckily, Gossip Girl will be back soon. So I will still have something to watch Monday nights. :)

As I said it snowed Saturday night, well that snow turned to ice later on. B and I were walking out to his car to eat and I completely bit it. My legs went straight up into the hair almost smacking B in the face. It hurt so bad, but now it seems pretty funny.

Anyways, tomorrow is Monday...oh joy. I think I will start the "Not Me Monday" so that will be interesting.

I don't have classes on Friday so obviously I am going to sleep in. Well around 12:30pm I was in that stage between sleep and waking up when I heard someone knocking on my suite door (I live in a 4-person suite that has 2 bedrooms with a common room and bathroom). I figured the person was here for one of my suitemates so I didn't bother fully waking up to get it. Then I heard the guy say "M" I woke up a bit more and tried to figure out who it was but couldn't. Then he knocked again. I assumed by the time I get up and out of bed he would be gone so I laid there. Then I heard keys in the door and it opened. The person was standing in my suite, again he said "M" by this time I was so freaked out I was not getting up to see who this man who just got into my room. He said "M" one more time then whistled for a few seconds then left!! I still have NO idea who it was and it's driving me crazy now!!!

Tonight is Greek Sing. It's Disney themed and I am pretty excited. Anyone who knows me knows I love Disney movies(not the current ones though, I'm talking princess type movies...the classics)

So this is my first blog post...I have to create a blog for my Media and Society class. I will start the assignment this weekend. I don't really know what to write about. Not much is going on tonight. Just dinner at the Union with Shona.

Classes were very good and very bad at the same time. English seemed like a short class and we only got out 10 minutes early. Media and Society was interesting and we got out 1 hour early which was nice because I needed to study. I went to my philosophy drill, where I had a test. It was AWFUL!!! I'm almost positive I failed. Then onto history where I had a major quiz. I think I did really well on it, but we will have to wait until Tuesday.

I LOVE the weather, it's absolutely amazing!! Just a little windy though.

Can't wait for Greek Sing tomorrow!!
